~SMILING~ My Brother Gaylon, what could be said for you!? You were my Buddy, you were a NUT!!!! We found you in a coma when you were just a little boy, Juvenile Diabetes , you learned at camp how to give yourself shots in the tummy, & I was heart broke, & afraid you were dead or dying (You were)the kids were afraid to see their big brother so sick, & yet none of us were over 10-11 years old I wanted to watch you grow really old, & of course the Doctors said you were not going to,you were bound & determined, to enjoy foods forbidden to your diet, & so it began, the hard head the hippie, the kids & later the little kids & eventually the 2 babies. We all came to Love you very, very, much, such a good hearted & souled, hard working man! I remember the day I would say, when are you going to make me an Aunt, & I will Never forget your answer. I will not now, nor ever have kids Annette. I would never bring a child into this world with the "Knowledge" they could be born into his disease Diabetes.It broke my heart to know that was a dream that would never be realized, you had two Son's however, that you were the Father you didn't have to be to, & to this day they still call your their Dad.You are a Grandpa Baby, & they look like Christopher, & Glenn, your sons babies.I will never forget our last talk in the Hospital.... More will be revealed here Until we meet again you remain forever loved, Your Sisters, Annette & Ceciel, Nisha & Laura, & of course Gary, John Daniel & Marv.... FOR NOW I HAVE NOT A PIC TO USE, I have a few left that were not destroyed in fire .

Dancing like we had no worries.
Remembering all the times we went and "cut a rug" thats what you called it, we danced like we had no worries. You lived life like noone I have met to date, you taught me to do the same you would always say "Lets just do it" I would say (do what) you would say "LIVE". Some days I could see you having difficulties and yet you didn't want to stop you pushed yourself when people thought you shouldn't.(they didn't know you that well did they) You wanted to dance and thats what we did ever friday night(oh how I miss that) we would have a crowd around us and we didn't care we would be "cutting our rug" I remember us laughing and singing to the music(sometimes we got the words and sometimes we didn't)thats what was so fun and funny. Remember when I fell I thought you were going to crack a rib or wet yourself. (Hehehehe) I dream we are dancing sometimes and you would say "everything will be alright I'm fine" and then I wake up and realize I was dreaming. Someday it want be a dream for I know your "cutting a rug" waiting for me until then I will continue to "cut my rug" and remember your smiling face and hearty laugh. I LOVE YOU!!!

Being part of "the Original Four" always made me feel like part of a team. A team of what -- I never knew -- but I knew we were a team!
Going to the school park to play Cowboys & Indians or Cops & Robbers (of course, Annette would decide which game and who would be what)...hahaha.
The best spanking I ever got was when we tied Annette to a tree and left her there. We totally got busted (as did our asses!).
No matter what life dealt you, you seldom reacted with anger. You did not feel sorry for yourself, and you did not want others to pity you.
Thank you for loving me even though I was a super geek. Thank you for allowing me to be myself and not feel I had to conform to different standards to be worthy of your time. Thank you for the "zoooommm, zoooommm, zoooommm sounds you did to crack me up."
